Shade Haven

Shade Haven is an agricultural machinery company based in Viroqua, Wisconsin. Their product is primarily used to facilitate rotational grazing. The need for shade in a pasture operation is obvious: Would you want to stand everyday all summer in direct sunlight? Shade Haven commissioned me to write a story for them. I focused on a single Iowa farmer, whose use of portable shade has been essential to his grass-fed beef business. The following article ran in the June 2016 issue of The Stockman Grass Farmer.
